129 and Holding
This is week 17 for the HASAY group diet that I am happily, er haphazardly, participating in with Casey and her gang. But mostly, I feel like all I say is I eat well, exercise 4 times a week, I started at 135 pounds and I am STILL at 129 pounds. Yes, I am stuck and have to either do more exercise or eat less. No big deal, right? Except I never get around to it.
Why can't I be like this Mom in the picture? First off, love the bathing suit "thing" she is wearing. I could totally pull that off. The husband? A doll with a big, beautiful smile. And the child is a-okay, too. And, I love butter. I miss butter.
I know, Senator Graham would tell me to stop my whining and he would be right. Look for a reading of 128 next Monday.....

That picture is hysterical! I love lard too. Sweet, comforting grease.....
I agree - good bathing suit.
This might make you feel better - your current weight is about 20 pounds MORE than my GOAL weight. I hope you're only 4'2.
Yup, I'm in the same boat. Only, well, twenty pounds heavier so I'm more likely to SINK said boat...but I'm just holding steady in one place.
We've got to break through this plateau soon, right??
You're working out four times a week!! That's great!!
That picture cracks me up! I can't believe some of the advertising from back in the day!
Secondly - I would KILL to be stuck at 129! I'm not even going to tell you what I'm stuck at. But nevertheless, being stuck someplace or at a weight that you don't want to be "stuck" at sucks!
Here's to wishing you get "unstuck" very soon!
Keep in mind that woman is no size zero. And she's gorgeous. 129 is amazing and I'm sure you'll be seeing the pounds drop even more quickly once you're over the hump.
I'm with FoN, your current weight is way below my goal weight. I'm sure that doesn't make you feel better though since it's frustrating to have plateaued. Here's hoping you get the stomach flu again and break the non-weight-changing cycle? No, that's not right. I guess I've got no words of wisdom except to keep doing what you're doing and good work on maintaining the exercise.
Count calories (internet has a million sites that will give you calories of every food known to man) & write everything down that you eat/drink -- that's the ticket. Oh, minor thought here -- make sure your calorie count doesn't go over 1200 per day!! My sister lost 30 lbs recently doing that. Keep up your exercising too -- go girl!
Ha. Lard makes everyone happy. Good luck getting over your plateau. Seems like your doing everything right though.
